How to write your name in Ancient Egyptian (Hieroglyphics)
Names in the 21st century are mainly arbitrary, however in Ancient Egypt names had meaning. Generally, they would be a simple noun, adjective or short phrase- usually one praising the gods.
So it might be a good idea to simply invent an adjective that describes you or name yourself an animal that you admire for your new name, although perhaps a better way of deciding on your new name is to look at your current one.
My name is Samuel and my parents chose it because it sounded nice. However, unbeknownst to them, it does have an ancient meaning. It comes from the ancient Hebrew 'Shemuel' which means 'name of God'. This seems to fit quite nicely into the short phrase category.
The next thing to think of is why you were named this way. You may be named like me, for no real reason but many people are named after someone in their family, a father or grandfather perhaps? If so you may need an epithet.
An epithet is a second part of your names. some examples are:
Alfred the Great
Seneca the Younger
Martin Luther King Jr
Deciding yours shouldn't be too hard: your position age wise- senior (translated as great), junior (translated as small) or if there are more than two of your name in the family, pick something that make you different a job or the place you live.
An alternative epithet that you may like even if you are like me and is the first of your family to have your name you may like to be named after your mother (born of [mothers name]) or your father (of [fathers name]'s body)
you you should now have your name.
Mine is:
Name of God born of Noble beauty
I doubt you will have realised but this is still in English,
It may happen that your words aren't found, in that case just keep searching synonyms.
This is my name:
shennnr msschpsinfr
𓍷𓈖𓀭𓄟𓀼𓄤
A cartouche may be used or encircle your name. Technically only if you are a king but no one will stop you from doing it.
Alternatively you could put the character 𓀀 (if you are male) or 𓁐(if you are a woman)
Long characters can be put on top of each other or rotated in order to look nicer.
