Names in the 21st century are mainly arbitrary, however in Ancient Egypt names had meaning. Generally, they would be a simple noun, adjective or short phrase- usually one praising the gods. So it might be a good idea to simply invent an adjective that describes you or name yourself an animal that you admire for your new name, although perhaps a better way of deciding on your new name is to look at your current one. My name is Samuel and my parents chose it because it sounded nice. However, unbeknownst to them, it does have an ancient meaning. It comes from the ancient Hebrew 'Shemuel' which means 'name of God'.
